If you follow me on instagram (@effiemsakeupbox) you may have already seen this beauty! Yes, I can now finally say, after what seems like a million years of yearning for it, I am now officially the proud owner of the MINKPINK cosmic horse dress! I won it in a bit of a bidding war on ebay for a pretty awesome price ^-^ eeee, I hate bidding on ebay so much because so many people ‘don’t know how to bid properly’ bidding days & DAYS before the listing actually ends, pushing up the price >.< (but we’ll not get into that now) but I do love a good win, ‘last second ebay sniper’ is my name & ‘winnning’ is my game ;) lol did I really just write that? Ahahaha (‘: Gotta love ebay!

You have probably seen these necklaces before too, they are from Empty Casket! I can not recommend Empty Casket more, it is one of THE most amazing jewellery shops! Seriously, if you are into crystals or just awesome jewellery in general, you NEED to go & check them out, here>link.

So quite a few of you guys were asking me where I got this skirt from after I posted it on Instagram (@effiesmakeupbox) the other day, well I am here to tell you it was from here>link I bought it for around £15 but the price seems to have gone up for some reason (now around £23.00) but it’s still a steal if you ask me!

The witchboard tank tee is from the amazing Orion Theory & was kindly sent to me by the lovely Yuka off Pretty In Leather. It has become one of my new favourite tops over the past few weeks as I LOVE the design & it’s such an easy piece to just throw on with any old bottoms & still looks good! The tee it’s self is a really soft material & the drop arms are the perfect size (not too much side boob on show ;)) Orion Theory have so many fab designs to choose from, go & check them out here>link

I think I’m about the only one of us that hasn’t blogged about this yet so I better get a shimmy on! On Sunday I headed into town to meet some fab northern bloggers. Claire organised #nwbloggermeetup as we don’t often get ‘events’ or planned blogger meets up nooorth that often & she did a wonderful job! Thank you Claire!

I know everyone says this but it is really strange meeting internet people in real life, even though you can talk to someone over twitter but at the end of the day, it’s nice to be able to talk face to face & see what people are really like as I think it’s (or at least I find it) quite hard to get my true personality across over my blog & social media sometimes & I’m not the most confident of people so it was really nice to meet these ladies who all share very similar interests that non bloggers maybe don’t ‘get’. What I’m trying to say ladies of #nwbloggermeetup it was lovely to meet you all & I’m sure I will be seeing some of you again very soon! ^_^

We started off in Moka then headed down to Coco Boo & Retro Rehab which are a couple of small boutiques hiding away down the cobbley Preston side streets. I am a big fan of Coco Boo & have featured  them on my blog in the past. It’s really nice to see two lovely girls do so well, especially in my hometown where the highstreet is pretty much non existent anymore. It really is nice to see the Coco Boo girls leading the way for other boutiques out there & proving that you don’t have to be all corporate & expensive to run a successful business! After our trip to Retro Rehab (yet another amazing little vintage boutique (check them out here>link) we headed to Primark to pop Lindsey’s Primark cherry (first blogger/person/living being  I have ever met that hasn’t entered the Aladdin's cave of treasures that is Primark! :O) & unfortunately though, to put it bluntly, it.was.shit ahahhahaha sorry Lindsey, we will have to go again on a better day (‘: We then headed to Strictly Cupcakes, a cute (& very reasonably priced) little vintage esque tea room for said cupcakes & a brew before saying our goodbyes & heading home.
